As President of Kelco Management & Development, Kelley D. Slay directs the development and acquisition of Kelco hotels. Mr. Slay, who holds a Real Estate degree from Florida State University’s School of Business, is responsible for developing new business opportunities for Kelco. 

 Mr. Slay's role involves identifying potential business opportunities and providing recommendations on hotel markets, supply and demand dynamics, and cash flow projections. He also selects target markets, identifies potential sites and acquisitions, arranges franchise affiliations, and secures contractors for development or renovations.

 Early in his career, Mr. Slay worked with Servico's hotel development department. He subsequently held various top positions in the hospitality industry, including Senior Vice President of Appraisal for Pannell Kerr Forster (PKF Consulting) and President of the Miami-based consulting firm International Hospitality Advisors. Mr. Slay has also earned membership into the esteemed Appraisal Institute and holds the MAI designation.
